Now Recruiting in Beds and Bucks

Make a Difference –  Join Westminster Homecare

Here at Westminster Homecare we have a team of excellent care workers who give quality care, support and assistance to predominantly older people who want to live in their own homes and maintain their independence for longer.

Our clients live in and around Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, and we have local people waiting for local caring people like you to deliver a range of services that help them live a better life.

96% of care workers say they feel their work makes a difference*

We need new and experienced care workers to join us so we can continue to deliver high quality personal care through our local, well supported care worker teams in; Milton Keynes, Aylesbury and South Bucks; Luton, Dunstable and Leighton Buzzard; Surrounding Villages.

Some of our clients are located close together (and in Dunsatble within the same complex) but in other areas your own transport is essential but cyclists are welcome.

What do Care Workers do?

No two clients are the same and no two days are the same!

  • Assist vulnerable adults who may have health needs to achieve their daily tasks set out by their person centred care plan.
  • Provide assistance which may include personal care needs, continence care, companionship and assisting with meal provision and/or to eat a meal.
  • Promote independence at all times where possible and help with use of equipment if required to carry out daily tasks (full training is provided)
  • Some household duties /light cleaning may be required at times.
  • Accurately record and read notes that are in the care plan regarding what has been completed with the service user that day.

Whats in it for me?

As part of Westminster Homecare you can expect the culture and personal touch that small, local home care agencies provide with the reassurance that being part of a bigger organisation can offer. We offer genuine flexible hours; although the majority of our carers work mornings and/or evenings, share weekend cover and enjoy a guaranteed number of hours. We offer:

  • Good rates of pay
  • Flexible working hours
  • Free uniform
  • Care worker of the month award
  • Great opportunity for progression
  • Company pension
  • Full training – we pay you to do the training!

Testimonials

I would like to thank the girls who came to look after me after my operation. Without their care and kindness I would not have been able to recover so soon. Thank you
