Compliment received from a service users family:

We would like to thank you from the bottom of our heart for all the wonderful care you gave my mum.  The last 2 and a half years was made much more bearable for mum thanks to everything you did for her. She loved you all and looked forward to you coming in.  I could hear mum laughing when she was with you and that meant the world to us.  We always knew that mum was safe and cared about when she was with you.  You became our family too and we will never forget you.  We are truly heartbroken now but in time we will look back with fond memories and smile, and mum’s carers will be included in them.

With lots of love D & M

Karl Sanders Nottingham Care Worker.

Karl Sanders from Westminster Homecare Nottingham was attending his first visit early in the morning on Wednesday 22nd June, when spotting an object in the road he got out for a closer inspection and it was the banking for a local garden centre/building supplies company the bag contained £12,000 Karl being of a kind trustworthy nature handed this into the police and the money was returned to the rightful owners.  For his efforts Karl was awarded a £100.00 voucher to spend in the Garden Centre.

‘ They are the kindest most carers I have ever had, they are always friendly polite and caring.  They always go above and beyond the ensure that I am comfortable and have everything that I need’

S. Hawkins, Ipswich Service User

I felt the need to write to you in view of today’s publication regarding Care in the UK. It makes me realise how lucky and privileged we are to have my mother’s care in your capable hands. Our experience is the absolute opposite of what is being reported. Our care is consistent, and truly caring in every sense of the word. We have the same Carers week in and week out. Your staff are in the profession because care runs through their veins, not for monetary reward or otherwise. It makes my blood boil when all I ever read about your profession is adverse comments, when the reality for me is overwhelmingly the opposite.

Congratulations to you and the team. Well done. May you continue to go from strength to strength. I know how hard you have to work to get the end result you do. Thank you for yet another year of continued support. I am ever grateful.

Kind Regards

Beryl Riches (MBE)
