I am writing to say thank you for the care your staff took of my mum in recent years. She enjoyed her visits from all of the staff and always told me how lovely they were. She enjoyed their company as much as appreciated the many tasks they did for her.
There were several occasions when members of the team went beyond the call of duty which, as I don’t live locally, I was very grateful for…stayed with mum when doctors sent an emergency ambulance to take her to hospital…sadly mum was never to return home, passing away in November.
I would be grateful if you would pass my thanks on to the relevant staff and if my mum could add her thanks to mine I know she would do so.
I felt the need to write to you in view of today’s publication regarding Care in the UK. It makes me realise how lucky and privileged we are to have my mother’s care in your capable hands. Our experience is the absolute opposite of what is being reported. Our care is consistent, and truly caring in every sense of the word. We have the same Carers week in and week out. Your staff are in the profession because care runs through their veins, not for monetary reward or otherwise. It makes my blood boil when all I ever read about your profession is adverse comments, when the reality for me is overwhelmingly the opposite.
Congratulations to you and the team. Well done. May you continue to go from strength to strength. I know how hard you have to work to get the end result you do. Thank you for yet another year of continued support. I am ever grateful.
